Test ):

Well today I had my human geo test. And honestly I Sam a nervous rack. I am starting to regret not trying my hardest in the beginning of the year now. I rely did everything I could on that test and I’m really just hoping I did ok. When I was doing the multiple choice I was pretty confident in myself. But once I got to the essays I started to fret a little bit. The first one I feel like I did really well on but the other two imp not too sure about. And after the teacher was telling me that they weren’t long enough really started to worry. So I went onto the back page and about doubled everything wrote. And I’m glad I did because after I did that I was more confident in myself that I did ok. Overall the test wasn’t that hard because I studied, but I don't know if it really was hard until I get it back. 

Worries

Well mid quarters. I’m a nervous wreck. I joked around the first two weeks of school and now in failing two classes which means if I don’t get them up I don't get to play volleyball. In failing biology and, well human geo. And today when in biology the teacher gave us the test he was supposed to give us tomorrow I thought for sure that it was over. But surprisingly I did ok. And I’ve been studying all day to make sure I do well on this test tomorrow. I took down all the notes I could today and in not going to stop studying until in 100% sure that in going to get a hundred percent on that test. I was relieved today when I looked at power school and saw that I did well on my biology quiz but that didn’t get me up far enough and now in scared that when he puts in the next grades they won’t be too great. But I know in my head that I’ll be able to do it just fine. 

is it fair ?

Now what I want you to do is just look in a mirror. If you don’t have at least have one piece of Nike on there must be something wrong.  Nike is one of the most popular teams out there, their mostly known for their socks and shoes. Their so popular that their shoes can sell for up to 300 dollars. but then the real question is why would they pay their workers only 3.70 cents a day? And if 3.70 cents doesn’t seem like a lot then imagine one dollar because that’s what it was before they were forced to raise it. They were forced to pay 4 dollars but they neglected to follow that. So saving 30 cents a day doesn’t seem like much. But there’s so many people it adds up to 50,000 dollars!  The gross domestic product, the total income, of an average American is about 50,000 dollars, but the people who work for Nike in Indonesia is only about 1,100. But the worst part is that other brands seeing how successful Nike is decided to follow them so now most of the brands we love , under armor, rebook , adidas could all be doing this for all we know. So if this doesn’t fill you with disgust your crazy.  Now, look down at you Nike shoes and imagine putting yourself in one of their shoes, if they can even afford them and decide if its fair.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

could this really be true

Yes it is true, the brand that everyone knows and love pays innocent people only a dollar a day to live their entire life while they keep it all for themselves. Nike the brand that everyone is wearing today. In Indonesia there are people working for a dollar a day to make shoes that sell for 50 times that much. A man and his college traveled to Indonesia to see what it was like to live on those wages. By the end of two weeks both of them were exhausted, sick, and shocked with how their people live like that. Getting a dollar and twenty five cents a day gets you about a bag of rice and may one other thing. Also when the Nike plant throws away unused rubber the throw it into a public place and burn it. And by doing this it lets of toxic fumes that can harm a person’s body. Can such a popular brand really be doing all this to people? That’s for you to decide.

I’m in human geo right now. We started off right where we did yesterday. We were looking at some cool pictures and reading about them. In the beginning the pictures looked cool but I started to get bored. Which is why I’m continuing writing this right now. Now I feel pretty stupid because it turns out the entire time we weren’t just looking at pictures we were talking about globalization. After a while it turns out that the topic was actually pretty fun to talk about. Well, today’s human geo class went by really fast. Mostly cause I wrote this the entire time.
